Think about this, though, if you have been told things about Christmas and the birth of Christ that are not in the Bible, then, isn’t it possible that someone taught you other things that are contrary to God’s word. At the very least it deserves your consideration and study to see if the things you have been taught about how to worship God, how to live as a Christian, and how to become a Christian are what the Bible teaches on these matters or not. The Bible says that the people from the town of Berea were "more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:10-12. You may not be rich and you may not be born of royal blood, but you can still be noble in God’s sight if you will study his word and obey it.
