Bible Understanding is the Foundation for ALL True Spiritual Growth
This site is devoted to encouraging you to not only read your Bible, but also study and understand it. There will eventually be sections for preachers, teachers, elders and deacons, and other members. There will be sections for individual personal study and study with others. There will be sermons on a wide variety of topics and texts in mp3, text, powerpoint, and possibly even video. There will be humorous and serious articles and illustrations for use in sermon, devotional, or bulletin preparation. There will also be links to resources that will be helpful in gaining better understanding of Bible truths. All of that is coming and will continue to grow, but it will not happen all at once. Please do not be disappointed with the limited amount here. Keep checking back; more is constantly in the works.
Of course beyond the understanding will come the acceptance and personal application of these truths as they are understood more clearly. We can't apply what we do not accept and we cannot accept what we do not understand, so let's start at the beginning. According to scripture, Mark 7:7, teaching the commandments of men as doctrine is vain worship. Logically then the teaching of the commandments of God as doctrine is true worship.
